Selorm Klaye

Daniel Suppey

Selorm began his career in Prudential plc where he built UK-wide financial models. Upon qualifying as an actuary, he led the profit-reporting actuarial team focusing on the most profitable product, and subsequently moved to the business development area where he specialized in inter-company M&A-style transfers ranging from £200m to £1.5b.

More recently, Selorm has shifted his focus to enterpreneurial ventures and business start-ups, managing the technical and financial aspects of these projects, and partnering with a number of select individuals to provide consultancy services.

He also took the chance to pursue a long-held ambtition of developing young people, securing a part-time teaching and supervisory role in a local high school. Although he has now left this role, he continues to mentor a number of senior pupils.

Selorm graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Actuarial Science, going on to become a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, and later obtaining his MBA from Chicago Booth with concentrations in Finance, Strategic Management, and Managerial & Organizational Behaviour.

He is a trustee of FAST58, a homeless charity, and also supports a number of other groups who have a vision to transform lives. He enjoys reading, writing short pieces on topics of interest, and a number of sports, golf being his favourite.
